70% of U.S. workers say they are not satisfied with the work they are doing.
1% love what they do.
and everyone in between just don’t know
Why would you work in a job you are dissatisfied with?
Why do people stay in a job they don’t like?
A big part of it is fear of stepping out of what we believe is comfortable.
Did you parents tell you they had to sacrifice to create a living for the family?
Are you telling yourself you are making a “sacrifice”?
“I’m making sacrifices now” – but you never let yourself out after the reason for the sacrifice is over. Why? fear.
At some point “sacrifice” becomes an excuse. There are points we have to make sacrifices, but people tend to use them their whole lives. They get stuck in a job they are not comfortable with and blame it on “sacrifice”. Fear enters in and holds them in that place.
We have to learn how to tap into our talents and decide what are you going to do with your talents.
Circumstances are an excuse for not being resourceful.
Have you gone through a tragedy? You entered into a numb state of working the 9-5. You reach for something that isn’t challenged because you need to repair yourself. That is normal during times of great change and tragedy in life.
The problem comes when you get comfortable while you repair yourself. It will eventually put you in a rut.

Baby boomers went through a trained pathway. It was an assumed path of – go to school – go to college – get your masters – work one job for the rest of your life. They were tricked into believing that path is best for us. They thought that was the norm and that was what they were supposed to do. But that path doesn’t allow the nurture of the environment to say to yourself – “If I could do anything what would it be”?
What is your talent? and how can you nurture your talent to build a business or build a life that you want?
There are moments in your life that become a turning point. When you follow your talent and happiness and start to focus on your own intuition of what you want to do in life. You realize that you can trust yourself a little more. The thoughts of failure start to go away and you begin to trust your instincts.
Casey Super Tip: Find your talent and base your life around that talent. Find ways to have that either in business or life.
Learn how to be comfortable being uncomfortable. Be willing to do what others are not willing to do. You won’t mind working hard at that point. You are the author of your own life. Comfortable is complacent.
“Uncomfortable” feeds and grows the creative mind.
